This is the new skin working on for QVGA and VGA................you like? Let me know if it is functioning properly on VGA please....
Text color changes for T9 and settings: Just unzip and pick your color of choice (red, green, lt blue, and grey) overwrite the other one in the resources folder in programs/TouchPal and reboot you should be good to go they work for both QVGA and VGA ...........LOL.....just tried it on my QVGA device worked great.
![]() VGA is now updated..........later.

Thank you for the skin, it's looking FANTASTIC!!!
One question. Can the suggested words font color be changed to white color? Currently it is showing dark blue against a black background which makes it difficult to see the suggested words clearly.
Thank you for the great work! :)

Thanks for this marvelous skin.
I second the request for a better contrast of the suggested word and the background though. |

This is a request I had at the XDA forum and I have completed it already for VGA, I will finish the conversion for QVGA in about an hour. There is red, green, lite blue, and grey. You already have blue so now you will have five choices. By the way you can not have white because it uses the same color for the highlighted box in T9 as the unhighlighted box when you first start typing the word, and of course the settings but in settings white would have looked nice but it doesn't work because of T9. This is my understanding anyway. I updated the post to include the new files. Just unzip and use the indics file with the color you want overwriting the old fike in resources. Thanks for the kind comments, let me know how I can help I am new to skinning but giving it my best shot........later

Sorry I couldn't do white for you. You can not have white because it uses the same color for the highlighted box in T9 as the unhighlighted box when you first start typing the word, and of course the settings but in settings white would have looked nice but it doesn't work because of T9.

Thank you for the set of T9 colours! I tried both the green and grey ones and they are both legible.
One other thing I noticed, some of the secondary characters (finger slide-down characters) on each keys are not very clear. It sorta looks like an outline font type has been used. I am using it on WVGA display on Touch HD.

Thanks again for the color set for T9. Works very well.
![]() Another problem, I can confirm for WVGA, is that the secondary key functions appear unclear like someone had cut them out manually with scissors. Maybe this only applies to WVGA devices. |

I do not have a VGA or WVGA device but I believe this may solve your problem, I have attached the zip in this post for you to try. Just unzip and go into your resources folder and overwrite the old file, please let me know if it works as I am guessing, I can not test. Thank you. uploads/public/vga_white_text_4_symbols_or_numbers_on_dark_face_keys.zip |

Thank you for the quick fix. I tested this on my Touch HD with WVGA and confirm the fuzzy seccondary characters issue is resolved with this fix! :)
Once again, thank you for the great job well done!! Very much appreciated. :)
